Middle School Science Contests
Summer Science
Students explore topics and tasks commonly featured in middle school contests such as Science Olympiad and the National Science Bowl. Students are introduced to important topics in physical science, earth science, and scientific inquiry, and work individually or collaboratively to solve challenging problems related to optics, circuits, geology, astronomy, and more. Students also participate in mock individual and team competitions during the camp.
This camp is a challenge, and builds on foundational scientific knowledge found in honors 5-6th grade science courses.
This two-week course meets Monday through Friday for three hours each day.
Space is very limited for our summer programs. Please do not wait until the last minute to enroll. If there are more than two weeks before the course starts, a $200 deposit will be due when enrolling, with the balance due two weeks before the course begins.
